Community Circles
Community Circles were citizen-led discussions on topics central to the OCP update. Community Circle discussions took place from March 27 to June 6, 2010.
Participants gathered in groups of neighbours, co-workers, friends, and association members and worked through a set of questions central to the OCP update. Topics of discussion included ideas on transportation, climate change, economy, land use, housing and food security. Individulas worked through a set of questions on a specific topic, with a focus on: “What are your goals for Victoria’s future, and how could they be acheived?”
Over 300 people participated in 47 Community Circles.
