Community Forum June 2010
The second Community Forum took place June 25 and 26, 2010, and presented feedback received from the community as well as future growth options for Victoria over the next 30 years. It was also an oppotunity for people to learn more about the vision for downtown and how it relates to the larger community plan.
The material presented and discussed brought together the feedback from a Community Survey, the first Community Forum at Crystal Garden, Community Circle discussion groups and meetings with community groups including neighbourhood associations, community service providers, businesses, arts and culture groups, and two Citizen Insight Councils. Participants met in groups to discuss and reflect on the feedback and weigh options for moving forward in terms of policy direction.
